On the authority of his father that 'Aishah said: O my nephew, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not prefer one of us to the other in respect of his division of the time of his staying with us. It was very rare that he did not visit us any day (i.e. he visited all of us every day). He would come near each of his wives without having intercourse with her until he reached the one who had her day and passed his night with her. When Saudah daughter of Zam'ah became old and feared that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would divorce her, she said: Messenger of Allah, I give to 'Aishah the day you visit me. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) accepted it from her. She said: We think that Allah, the Exalted, revealed about this or similar matter the Qur'anic verse: "If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part...." I was with the Prophet (ﷺ) in a Ghazwa (Military Expedition) and my camel was slow and exhausted. The
Prophet came up to me and said, "O Jabir." I replied, "Yes?" He said, "What is the matter with you?" I
replied, "My camel is slow and tired, so I am left behind." So, he got down and poked the camel with
his stick and then ordered me to ride. I rode the camel and it became so fast that I had to hold it from
going ahead of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . He then asked me, have you got married?" I replied in the
affirmative. He asked, "A virgin or a matron?" I replied, "I married a matron." The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"Why have you not married a virgin, so that you may play with her and she may play with you?" Jabir
replied, "I have sisters (young in age) so I liked to marry a matron who could collect them all and
comb their hair and look after them." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will reach, so when you have arrived (at
home), I advise you to associate with your wife (that you may have an intelligent son)." Then he asked
me, "Would you like to sell your camel?" I replied in the affirmative and the Prophet (ﷺ) purchased it for
one Uqiya of gold. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) reached before me and I reached in the morning, and when I went
to the mosque, I found him at the door of the mosque. He asked me, "Have you arrived just now?" I
replied in the affirmative. He said, "Leave your camel and come into (the mosque) and pray two
rak`at." I entered and offered the prayer. He told Bilal to weigh and give me one Uqiya of gold. So
Bilal weighed for me fairly and I went away. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent for me and I thought that he would
return to me my camel which I hated more than anything else. But the Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "Take your
camel as well as its price." - Hadith Al Bukhari 2097 (islam)

I married a woman, whereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to me: Have you married? I said: Yes. He said: Is it a virgin or a previously married one (widow or divorced)? I said: With a previously married one, whereupon he said: Where had you been (away) from the amusements of virgins? Shu'ba said: I made a mention of it to 'Amr b. Dinar and he said: I too heard from Jabir making mention of that (that Allah's Apostle) said: Why didn't you marry a girl, so that you might sport with her and she might sport with you? - Hadith Muslim 715e (islam)

I married a virgin woman in her veil. When I entered upon her, I found her pregnant. (I mentioned this to the Prophet). The Prophet (ﷺ) said: She will get the dower, for you made her vagina lawful for you. The child will be your slave. When she has begotten (a child), flog her (according to the version of al-Hasan). The version of Ibn AbusSari has: You people, flog her, or said: inflict hard punishment on him.
Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been transmitted by Qatadah from Sa'd b. Yazid on the authority of Ibn al-Musayyab in a similar way. This tradition has been narrated by Yahya b. Abi Kathir from Yazid b. Nu'aim from Sa'id b. al-Musayyab, and 'Ata al-Khurasani narrated it from Sa'id b. al-Musayyab ; they all narrated this tradition from the Prophet (ﷺ) omitting the link of the Companion (i.e. a mursal tradition). The version of Yahya b. Abi Kathir has: Basrah b. Aktham married a woman. The agreed version has: He made the child his servant.

So for whatever you enjoy [of marriage] from them, give them their due compensation as an obligation. And there is no blame upon you for what you mutually agree to beyond the obligation. [22]And do not marry those [women] whom your fathers married, except what has already occurred. Indeed, it was an immorality and hateful [to Allah] and was evil as a way.
[23]Prohibited to you [for marriage] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother's daughters, your sister's daughters, your [milk] mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursing, your wives' mothers, and your step-daughters under your guardianship [born] of your wives unto whom you have gone in. But if you have not gone in unto them, there is no sin upon you. And [also prohibited are] the wives of your sons who are from your [own] loins, and that you take [in marriage] two sisters simultaneously, except for what has already occurred. And they request from you, [O Muhammad], a [legal] ruling concerning women. Say, "Allah gives you a ruling about them and [about] what has been recited to you in the Book concerning the orphan girls to whom you do not give what is decreed for them - and [yet] you desire to marry them - and concerning the oppressed among children and that you maintain for orphans [their rights] in justice." And whatever you do of good - indeed, Allah is ever Knowing of it. - Quran An-Nisa(The Women) 4:127 (islam)

And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on whom Allah bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, "Keep your wife and fear Allah," while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the command of Allah accomplished. - Quran Al-Ahzab(The Confederates) 33:37 (islam)

"Forbidden for you (for marriages) are your mothers..." (4:23).
'Abdullah bin Ja'far married the daughter and wife of 'Ali at the same time (they were step-daughter and mother). Ibn Sirin said, "There is no harm in that." But Al-Hasan Al-Basri disapproved of it at first, but then said that there was no harm in it. Al-Hasan bin Al-Hasan bin 'Ali married two of his cousins in one night. Ja'far bin Zaid disapproved of that because of it would bring hatred (between the two cousins), but it is not unlawful, as Allah said, "Lawful to you are all others [beyond those (mentioned)]. (4:24).
Ibn 'Abbas said: "If somebody commits illegal sexual intercourse with his wife's sister, his wife does not become unlawful for him."
And narrated Abu Ja'far, "If a person commits homosexuality with a boy, then the mother of that boy is unlawful for him to marry."
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas, "If one commits illegal sexual intercourse with his mother in law, then his married relation to his wife does not become unlawful." Abu Nasr reported to have said that Ibn 'Abbas in the above case, regarded his marital relation to his wife unlawful, but Abu Nasr is not known well for hearing Hadith from Ibn 'Abbas.
Imran bin Hussain, Jabir b. Zaid, Al-Hasan and some other Iraqi's, are reported to have judged that his marital relations to his wife would be unlawful. In the above case Abu Hurairah said, "The marital relation to one's wife does not become unlawful except if one as had sexual intercourse (with her mother)." Ibn Al-Musaiyab, 'Urwa, and Az-Zuhri allows such person to keep his wife. 'Ali said, "His marital relations to his wife does not become unlawful." - Hadith Al Bukhari 5105 (islam)

Juwayriyyah, daughter of al-Harith ibn al-Mustaliq, fell to the lot of Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas, or to her cousin. She entered into an agreement to purchase her freedom. She was a very beautiful woman, most attractive to the eye.
Aisha said: She then came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asking him for the purchase of her freedom. When she was standing at the door, I looked at her with disapproval. I realised that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would look at her in the same way that I had looked.
She said: Messenger of Allah, I am Juwayriyyah, daughter of al-Harith, and something has happened to me, which is not hidden from you. I have fallen to the lot of Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas, and I have entered into an agreement to purchase of my freedom. I have come to you to seek assistance for the purchase of my freedom.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Are you inclined to that which is better? She asked: What is that, Messenger of Allah? He replied: I shall pay the price of your freedom on your behalf, and I shall marry you.
She said: I shall do this. She (Aisha) said: The people then heard that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had married Juwayriyyah. They released the captives in their possession and set them free, and said: They are the relatives of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) by marriage. We did not see any woman greater than Juwayriyyah who brought blessings to her people. One hundred families of Banu al-Mustaliq were set free on account of her.
Abu dawud said: This evidence shows that a Muslim ruler may marry a slave woman himself.

[28]If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry. - Bible(NT) 1 Corinthians 7:36 (bible)

And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. - Bible(OT) Deuteronomy 22:17 (bible torah)

I was with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) in a Ghazwa, and when we returned, I wanted to hurry, while riding a slow
camel. A rider came behind me. I looked back and saw that the rider was Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . He said (to
me), "What makes you in such a hurry?" I replied, "I am newly married." He said, "Did you marry a
virgin or a matron?" I replied, "(Not a virgin but) a matron." He said, "Why didn't you marry a young
girl with whom you could play and who could play with you?" Then when we approached (Medina)
and were going to enter (it), the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Wait till you enter (your homes) at night (in the first
part of the night) so that the ladies with unkempt hair may comb their hair, and those whose husbands
have been absent (for a long time) may shave their pubic hair." (The sub-narrator, Hashim said: A
reliable narrator told me that the Prophet (ﷺ) added in this Hadith: "(Seek to beget) children! Children, O

As for a woman, if she needs to marry, it is recommended for her to do so, though if she does not, (0; not feeling any sexual desire within herself, and she is engaged in worship,) then it is offensive for her to do so. (N: Though such a woman needs a husband or unmarriageable relative to travel and so forth (dis: m10.3).)
DESIRABLE CHARACfERISTICS IN A BRIDE mlA It is recommended for a man to marry a virgin (0: unless there is a reason not to, such as sexual incapacity or needing someone to take care of his children) (A: though it is permissible to marry a nonvirgin even if she has not previously married (dis: p12.1(3(n:)))) who is fertile (0:
which in a virgin is inferable from her relatives), attractive, intelligent, religious, of a good family, and not a close relative. (0: In Sharh al-Minhaj, Ibn Hajar notes that when one must choose between the above characteristics, the order of preference should be:
(1) religiousness, which takes precedence over anything else;
(2) intelligence;
(3) a good character and disposition;
(4) fertility;
(5) a good family;
(6) virginity;
(7) beauty;
(8) and then that which fulfills some other relevant interest.)
