On the authority of his father that 'Aishah said: O my nephew, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not prefer one of us to the other in respect of his division of the time of his staying with us. It was very rare that he did not visit us any day (i.e. he visited all of us every day). He would come near each of his wives without having intercourse with her until he reached the one who had her day and passed his night with her. When Saudah daughter of Zam'ah became old and feared that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would divorce her, she said: Messenger of Allah, I give to 'Aishah the day you visit me. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) accepted it from her. She said: We think that Allah, the Exalted, revealed about this or similar matter the Qur'anic verse: "If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part...." I was with the Prophet (ﷺ) in a Ghazwa (Military Expedition) and my camel was slow and exhausted. The
Prophet came up to me and said, "O Jabir." I replied, "Yes?" He said, "What is the matter with you?" I
replied, "My camel is slow and tired, so I am left behind." So, he got down and poked the camel with
his stick and then ordered me to ride. I rode the camel and it became so fast that I had to hold it from
going ahead of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . He then asked me, have you got married?" I replied in the
affirmative. He asked, "A virgin or a matron?" I replied, "I married a matron." The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"Why have you not married a virgin, so that you may play with her and she may play with you?" Jabir
replied, "I have sisters (young in age) so I liked to marry a matron who could collect them all and
comb their hair and look after them." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will reach, so when you have arrived (at
home), I advise you to associate with your wife (that you may have an intelligent son)." Then he asked
me, "Would you like to sell your camel?" I replied in the affirmative and the Prophet (ﷺ) purchased it for
one Uqiya of gold. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) reached before me and I reached in the morning, and when I went
to the mosque, I found him at the door of the mosque. He asked me, "Have you arrived just now?" I
replied in the affirmative. He said, "Leave your camel and come into (the mosque) and pray two
rak`at." I entered and offered the prayer. He told Bilal to weigh and give me one Uqiya of gold. So
Bilal weighed for me fairly and I went away. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent for me and I thought that he would
return to me my camel which I hated more than anything else. But the Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "Take your
camel as well as its price." - Hadith Al Bukhari 2097 (islam)

O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not [conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him, ever. (on the authority of his father) `Aisha said: "Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) wanted to fondle anyone of us
during her periods (menses), he used to order her to put on an Izar and start fondling her." `Aisha
added, "None of you could control his sexual desires as the Prophet (ﷺ) could." - Hadith Al Bukhari 302 (islam)

Anas bin Malik said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and
they were eleven in number." I asked Anas, "Had the Prophet (ﷺ) the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We
used to say that the Prophet (ﷺ) was given the strength of thirty (men)." And Sa`id said on the authority of

Apostle would say to her, 'I have accepted your pledge of allegiance.' He would only say that, but, by
Allah he never touched the hand of any women (i.e. never shook hands with them) while taking the

Do not beat Allah's handmaidens, but when Umar came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: Women have become emboldened towards their husbands, he (the Prophet) gave permission to beat them. Then many women came round the family of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) complaining against their husbands. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Many women have gone round Muhammad's family complaining against their husbands. They (those husbands who take to beating their wives) are not the best among you.

Nu`man bin Sharahil, and her wet nurse was with her. When the Prophet (ﷺ) entered upon her, he said to
her, "Give me yourself (in marriage) as a gift." She said, "Can a princess give herself in marriage to an
ordinary man?" The Prophet (ﷺ) raised his hand to pat her so that she might become tranquil. She said, "I
seek refuge with Allah from you." He said, "You have sought refuge with One Who gives refuge.
Then the Prophet (ﷺ) came out to us and said, "O Abu Usaid! Give her two white linen dresses to wear
and let her go back to her family." - Hadith Al Bukhari 5255 (islam)

I went to al-Hirah and saw them (the people) prostrating themselves before a satrap of theirs, so I said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has most right to have prostration made before him. When I came to the Prophet (ﷺ), I said: I went to al-Hirah and saw them prostrating themselves before a satrap of theirs, but you have most right, Messenger of Allah, to have (people) prostrating themselves before you. He said: Tell me , if you were to pass my grave, would you prostrate yourself before it? I said: No. He then said: Do not do so. If I were to command anyone to make prostration before another I would command women to prostrate themselves before their husbands, because of the special right over them given to husbands by Allah.
